Cherry Gin-Gria

ingredients
- ice cube
- 56.69 g cherry syrup (recommended ( Giammona)
- 56.69 g gin
- 141.74-170.09 g club soda
- 28.34 g red wine
- maraschino cherry
- fresh raspberries or frozen raspberries
directions
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour in the cherry syrup and the gin; stir to mix together. Lighten the drink with a generous splash of soda. Float a layer of red wine on top by pouring it over the back of a wide, flat spoon. (Don't worry if it doesn't float; it tastes great either way.) Drop a few maraschino cherries and raspberries into the glass. Drink.

We enjoyed this drink very much last night. We are not wine people, but someone had brought us some for the holidays. This jazzed up the wine enough for us to enjoy it. Thanks Shelby. made for photo tag.

(However, the list of foods I don't like keeps getting smaller and smaller thanks to this site!) <br /><br />I love to play the tag games here, as you can see from the banners below.
