Michelle, you won my boyfriends heart (and stomach) with this recipe. So easy to make! The flavors are intense but not overpowering. I served it with egg noodles, buttered and sprinkled with garlic powder and cinnamon roasted carrots. It was an outstanding meal that I will cook over and over! Thanks sooo much!

Husband rated it "as nothing special", but he ate all of it...that makes it at least a 3 for me! He said it had good flavor but the steak was a little tough. I might try it again with ground beef patties for a more tender meat.

Wonderful, fast, cheap meal. I tripled the sauce and before adding the sauce ingredients to the pan I added 1/2 T of flour and let that cook in the drippings for a minute or so. It didn't really thicken up much but was very tasty and pleasant. Used bottled lemon juice and it's a low quality fake lemon so I bet it is way much better with fresh lemon juice. Will make this again.

This was quite good and a nice simple meal. I served it with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. The amounts in the recipe really didn't make enough sauce. My husband loves gravy so I sprinkled a little flour in the pan after I removed the steaks and doubled the rest of the ingredients. It still did not make a whole lot so next time I will probably triple the gravy ingredients. Flavor was wonderful though and I have 2 picky elementary aged children that loved it.

I think the sauce in this recipe deserves a better piece of meat than a cube steak! It was very tasty but a little spicy for me. This is a nice change from cube steak in brown gravy.

Michelle, I should have posted this 10 days ago! This is so good! The only change I'd make is next time I'm going to double the gravy/sauce!! What a great way to do cube steak other than chicken fry. And we have so many as we butcher our own beef. Thanks a millon for sharing!! It's certainly a keeper!

This sauce was delicious! Easy to prepare, has a fancy name (so everyone thinks you slaved) LOL, and tastes wonderful. I served with green salad and garlic bread. Next time I'll be sure to double the sauce recipe so we don't have to fight over it! LOL

I have alot of cubed steaks left in my freezer, so was looking for another recipe to use them in and this is a fantastic way to use them. We loved the intense flavor of these normally blah steaks. It was fast and easy too, double bonus! I served these with mashed potatoes and gravy and corn. Delish! Thank you for sharing this with us.

oops, wish I had seen the review about "dont double the pepper" so, anyway, I doubled the recipe (and the pepper) waaaayyyyy too much pepper, poor family had to scrape the sauce off and still required a lot of milk to drink. They said the meat was really good otherwise..

I wasn't sure how this combination of ingridients would taste like, but decided to try it and glad I did. It was absolutely excellent and the sauce had great flavor. I added chopped onions while making the sauce. Thank you!

This was good! And easy! I let it cook down a little, and although it never thickened, the sauce was great!

I wish I could give more stars. Man this was good. Super easy too. I doubled the sauce (less the pepper) and then added a touch of Cornstarch at the end to thicken. I served this with Stuffing. Thanks. It was Super Yum.

These were pretty good. Not much different from how my mom makes them. I didn't have lemon juice so instead of the lemon juice I used some lemon-pepper seasoning. They were still flavorful and delicious.

Oh, boy! This was great. Placed steak over a piece of Texas toast and then the sauce. Yummy! Had this again this month and it's back on the rotation!

Outstanding dish. They had cube steaks on sale this week and I got them just to try this dish out and ohhh I am glad I did. It was very easy to throw together and quick which was good since we were hungry. Made with mashed potatoes and I doubled the sauce as suggested by others and was very good with the potatoes. Thanks so much Michelle S for posting this recipe.

This was very good but I would double the sauce ingredirnts next time. Also I would check occasionally to see if additional liquid was needed.

This was an amazing recipe, easy to follow and great tasting. We loved it! The only difference I made was using Red Pepper Seasoning instead of Black (ran out) but WOW anyhow, we ate these steaks with whipped buttery garlic mashed potatoes and sweet corn on the cob. AWESOME RECIPE, thanks so much!! P.S. word to the wise, double the gravy recipe, and use alittle flour to thicken it up, yum!!!
