I really can`t rate this for the recipe is so basic and what I did was what made it 5 stars. I used 16 ounces of dried peas, 2 cups chopped ham, 1 diced carrot, 2 diced celery, 1 cup diced onions, 2 tablespoon roasted garlic, dried mix of herbs and 8 cups of home made chicken stock that I had frozen. I had no problem using this recipe but for those new to cooking need to know exact amounts. I served with rye bread.
