  • 3 tablespoons ammonia
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 34 cup water
  • 2 drops blue food coloring

  • Mix all ingredients in order into a spray bottle.
  • Shake and use for windows and such.

  1. This is the BEST window cleaner I have ever used. I'm fanatical about streaks and have glass top tables in the living room. My 3.00 bottle of no-drip Windex was a disaster. I've lost track of how many bottles of this stuff I have made - I love it. Thanks for an inexpensive solution to no streaks.
     
  2. I used this on some shamefully dirt windows today. There isn't enough stars in the night sky to give this recipe. I will never use anything else again.
     
  3. streak free! I did not all the food coloring, just used a blue stray bottle to remind me what it is!
     
  4. This stuff is great...I'm already on my second bottle. It works even better than the stuff you buy. I don't add the food coloring, though. And I use it as an all-purpose cleaner too- to get those fingerprints off walls, etc. Fabulous recipe- Thanks!
     
  5. This stuff is great! I made a triple batch and went on a window cleaning frenzy. It doesn't streak like the brand name products I have tried!
